BSW Beauty is North America’s largest beauty product retailer, founded in 1993.
It started in Syracuse Downtown and now has 29 chains, including in the United States and Canada.
Challenges
BSW Beauty has made a lot of progress over the past 20 years. But in order to take it a step further, we planned to integrate it into a single brand. To achieve this, we needed to unify the systems. This system would involve combining the operating method and its values of a single brand, but first, the integration of the POS system and the computer system was urgently needed.
With the existing system, 29 stores could not create a single environment. We wanted the synergy that a unified computer system will bring, so we gave up the existing one and chose the Pantheon cloud solution.
Solutions
We were able to achieve better-than-expected results in product management, inventory management, employee management, and customer management. Furthermore, market analysis has become possible to share inventory among stores, reduce malicious inventory and inventory ratios, and use existing sales data to read and anticipate trends in the beauty market.
Product Management
The prices that were previously set randomly have been managed collectively so that they can react sensitively to invoice prices. In addition, each store has a clear view of products and inventories that have been managed promiscuously, enabling efficient management of limited retail space.
Employee Management
We have now a clear understanding of each employee’s working hours and services, and facilitate employee transfers between each store.
Customer Management
The membership system provided by Pantheon Cloud Solutions has increased customer satisfaction and loyalty. It is also linked with the app, so points and online purchases are now possible.
Sales history and sales report output
Sales records that had been withdrawn like sand in hand were organized in each category to clearly understand customers’ needs and needs, and to focus on limited manpower and resources to develop sales strategies and plans.
